The term "Pole Mounted" refers to using ISS Designs Compression Poles to design a wall unit, shelving, closet, divider or more. The ISS Designs poles may be mounted using the spring loaded ISS Designs Compression Kit or the wall attached ISS Designs Tie Pole Kit. The minimum height of the poles typically ranges from a 76" height up to 12 feet high. The poles may be placed up to 32" for most applications. ISS Compression Poles Design attractive, adjustable and strong wall units, computer workstations, shelving and closets using ISS Compression Poles. The poles extend from floor to ceiling held in place with spring tension. No permanent attachment to the wall, floor or ceiling is required. Cabinets are attached to the sides of the poles using ¼ - 20 machine screws. Shelves rest on the rear facing ISS brackets with weight supported by the wall and the poles. The pole mounted system is designed for high load bearing capacity. ISS Tie Pole Kit Attaches shelving system to the wall when ceiling is sloping, dropped, or exceeds 12 feet in height. The tie pole locks into vertical poles on one end and attaches to the wall on the other. Tie Pole Kit includes 12” pole, tie brackets and pole caps. Custom sizes available. Other components of the ISS Designs Pole-Mounted Modular Shelving System include: ISS Designs Shelves The ISS Designs shelves are available in sizes from 4” to 24” depth, with a length of 24” to 96”. By using thermal-fused melamine for our shelves, we can combine eye appeal with quality and durability. The shelves are thermal-fused under intense heat and pressure, permanently bonding the resin-saturated paper to the substrate for extraordinary strength and toughness. The wood grains of maple, cherry and mahogany offer a finish that is natural with the benefit of being wear-resistant and easy to clean. Customized designs may include standard shelves, notched shelves, notched workspaces and shelves with sides. ISS Brackets and Bookends The ISS Brackets offer infinite adjustability combined with strength and ease of installation. The brackets can be located at the exact point required along the vertical channel of ISS Compression Poles. The bracket slides up and down at a 45 degree angle and locks in place by pushing it down to a 90 degree angle. ISS Cabinets Complete your pole mounted design with our custom shelves and cabinets in your choice of: white, black, maple, cherry or mahogany melamine. We can also provide you with a selection of other colors upon request. Cabinet configurations include: 2-door cabinet, 3-drawer cabinet, and 2-drawer lateral file. |
