In addition to meeting the HC (Heavy Commercial) standard, most Winco windows are also AW (Architectural Window) rated, the most stringent rating given by the AAMA (the American Architectural Manufacturers Association). 

In order to receive a rating each window undergoes a rigorous testing procedure that includes:  

• Multiple tests for air and water infiltration
• Two life cycling series of 1,250 repetitions of locking and re-opening
• Deliberate misuse and structural integrity tests
