Glass Rail Systems
TACO glass railing systems components have unique profiles and provide a total
systems approach to glass railing design. TACO glass railing systems are perfect
design components for balcony railings, concourse railings and stairway railings
to create a visual success. TACO glass railing is designed as a structural baluster.
Pre-finished top rail, aluminum bases and standard components are designed for
use with 1/2” tempered glass. Stock shapes are ready for fabrication and
installation. TACO also offers a wide array of custom fabricated components,
provided minimum quantities and lead times are met. Certified test results are
available on our Web site at tacometals.com, by mail or via fax.
Top Rail
TACO Top Rail is available in sizes ranging from 1-1/2” to 4” OD.
TACO Top rail is precision roll formed and welded every 3”, providing
extra strength and stability for fabrication and bending prior to installation.
Pre-finished top rail is available in anodized or powder-coated aluminum, as
well as polished stainless steel. Custom top rail finishes are also available,
provided minimum quantities and lead times are met.

Mitered Corners-Horizontal 90° and 135°
Mitered corners are fabricated from the same high quality materials as our
rail sections. TACO offers 90 and 135-degree corners as stock items. Other corners
are availabale as custom fabrications. For all custom corners, a template or
technical drawing is required. Please specify angle of corner where angle is
measured, location of glass pocket size, and finish. Vertical corners in both
90 degree and 135 degree are also available on request.
