RAY-BAR manufacturers and installs a complete line of products including U.L. classified lead backed gypsum wallboard, leadlined wood and metal doors, leadlining of hollow metal frames, leadlined telescopic steel control view window frames, x-ray protective lead glass, leadlined control barriers, leadlined vision lites, clear lead acrylic and neutron shielded doors.
All of our sheet lead and plate is available in 17 standard thicknesses from 1/64"(0.39mm) up to 2"(50.8mm) as "good in stock" and of the purest form commercially available meeting Fed. Spec QQ-L201f, Grade C. All of our products meet Federal specifications and standards including all NCRP applicable reports.
Lead requirements should always be determined by a qualified health radiation physicist or other radiation "expert" as defined by NCRP or ICRP.
Customer or end-user should always have all shielding projects completely tested and surveyed by the qualified radiation health physicist of record after installation and prior to occupancy and use. Ray-Bar products and materials are custom manufactured to customers written requirements for medical and industrial applications only.
