Paddock Pool Equipment Co., Inc.For over forty years, planners of the most distinctive aquatic centers have come to rely on Paddock to provide total project solutions. Paddock offers a design service, innovative high performance products, and construction expertise through our preferred builder network—all tailored to meet the unique demands of each individual project. Our goal is to help create the highest quality facility, considering every detail, from aesthetics, safety, and performance needs, to durability, maintenance requirements, and efficient operation—and to provide the best value for the dollar.
Our design assistance service is available to any interested design professional. We can prepare a set of plans, complete with an itemized equipment list and specifications, usually in a few weeks, when a preliminary schematic (containing information such as the proposed pool shape, depths, filter room location, etc.) is provided. This is a helpful service because every pool is different, and coordinating plans for a major aquatic center requires careful attention to complicated choices, from construction methods to equipment selection to local code requirements. Our expertise in pool design, manufacturing, and construction provides the resources needed to help you make them.
Paddock manufactures major equipment items for commercial aquatic projects such as competition pools, recreation pools, wellness and therapy pools, and water parks.
Stainless Steel Recirculating Perimeters are custom-made for each pool to meet health department and performance requirements. Commonly called “gutters,” these systems are installed continuously around the top of the pool wall and collect water from the pool surface. Their function is to efficiently receive water from the pool, carry it to the filter and sanitation system, and return it to the pool through a network of properly sized inlet fittings. Stainless steel gutters are supplied as a complete recirculating unit, eliminating the need for a network of pipes to carry water back and forth to and from the pool. Paddock is the industry leader, with several unique systems that enhance speed, such as the C300 Perimeter, with its Auxiliary Surge Recovery feature. We have also introduced the industry’s first curved gutter system—the R300—which can be formed to match any shape.
Filters are custom sized for the flow requirements of the individual pool. Paddock makes several models which operate under pressure (enclosed, pressurized steel vessels) or vacuum (open-top square tanks recessed in the equipment room floor), primarily from stainless steel. Filters contain media which strains out dirt particles from pool water. The Compak model vacuum sand filter featured here is the finest filter on the market, producing the clearest water while saving space, water and energy consumption, and labor for operators.
Stainless Steel Movable Bulkheads span the width of the pool and can be easily moved to different positions to create varying courses for competition (50 meter, 25 meter, 25 yards, etc.). They also divide the pool into sections, so lap swimming can be conducted on one side, and recreation, instruction, or diving on the other. Bulkheads are custom built but are usually 4 ft wide, 4 ft deep, and 45, 60, or 75 feet in length.
Paddock has the capability to supply complete equipment packages, so a bidding contractor only has to make one call before the pool is bid, and an owner only has to make one call for any product-related issue after the pool is built. Whether you are a design professional, builder, or owner, we invite you to visit our website for more information about how Paddock can assist you. Our goal is to exceed your expectations.
