Since 1881 Lawrence has been the market leader in customer guidance, crowd control and hospitality products. Our first customer guidance products were the traditional post and rope barriers still widely used where a traditional look is preferred. In the mid 1980's Lawrence introduced Tensabarrier, the world's first retracting belt barrier to the US market. Since that time the retracting belt barrier has become ubiquitous, used wherever there are waiting lines. Today there are many copies but only the Tensabarrier brand matches leading edge safety technology with the highest levels of material specification and construction quality.
We offer the widest range of customer guidance barriers in the market including retracting belt, rope, fixed beam systems. Both custom and modular railing systems are also available.
