For over seventy years Robinson Flagstones has been
the preferred supplier of Pennsylvania flagstone (Bluestone) servicing
the needs of architects, landscape architects, designers, and the construction
industry in general. Our full cooperation is given for each job whether
that requires technical information, budgeting, samples, or design concepts.
Our years of accumulated knowledge and continuing research of product development
is complemented by our fully trained staff in sales, design, and drafting,
right down to the actual craftsmen who cut each individual stone.
We are constantly studying and experimenting with flagstone to secure architectural
effects for residential, commercial, institutional or any other type of
application. We are willing to cooperate with you in obtaining the
spirit of Old World beauty with the look to complement any architectural
design without actually changing the character of this material.
Robinson Flagstone is a specially selected
Pennsylvania bluestone (not slate). It is a natural cleft, hard,
durable quartzite sandstone that will not disintegrate in any climate.
This material, in addition to being used for its natural beauty, is used
extensively and economically as paving stone, coping, interior flooring,
treads, and many other applications (comparable to brick or wood deck in
cost).

Exterior materials require only normal masonry maintenance. For interior
installations, we recommend sealing with acrylic sealer to stain-proof
and maintain the natural beauty of the stone.
To ensure completeness and accuracy specify that all Robinson orders
come complete with setting drawing (cut to size and numbered); similar
to sketch at right.
