Overview
Broadest Product Line In The Industry
When it comes to seamless systems, the General Polymers product line is the
most comprehensive in the industry. Chemistries include cementitious, acrylic,
epoxy, Novolac, and urethane elastomers and enamels. Floor and wall systems
are most frequently applied to concrete substrates but can also protect wood,
block, steel and dry wall.
Leader In Innovative Chemistry and Systems
General Polymers flooring systems are designed around state-of-the-art technology
including nano composites, fire retardants, antimicrobial additives and fast
cure chemistry. Innovation in polymer structure, additives and packaging combine
to feature the General Polymers product line as one of the highest performing,
most cost effective to install, and the longest lasting floor finishes in the
industry.
Absolute Commitment to Contractors Success and Support
Problem prevention is the key to quality installations. We provide the best
training program in the industry. Our training goes beyond product knowledge,
and includes fundamental understanding of why problems occur and what can be
done to prevent and/or correct them. Training is open to contractors' installers,
sales reps, end-users, architects and designers.
Contractor certification programs insure quality installations.
Our technical service group provides support on the front end. We want our
people on the job for all "first time jobs" with any contractor and
any system. We encourage specification writers to include manufacturers' on-site
representation. Our 24 hour hot line is available to assist with installations
even when the office is closed or call our wireless phone at 513-518-5234 to
connect with our on-call technical service person.
Highest Quality Standards
The Quality Board meets regularly to resolve any complaints, investigate problems,
understand their causes and take action to prevent them from occurring a second
time. All incoming raw materials are compared to certificates analysis. Finished
goods are checked for their physical properties, as well as any application
problem.
Dedication to Customer Service
Experienced, knowledgeable customer service representatives are available to
accept your order and answer product questions. Our record for shipping on the
"requested ship date" is more than 97%. We have the capability to
ship items the same day, if ordered before 10:00 a.m. Special colors or non-stock
items generally take less than 72 hours to ship. Two manufacturing facilities
in the U.S. assure that, even if a disaster occurs, supply will be uninterrupted.
International Presence and Marketing Efforts
The combined sales organizations of General Polymers specialty representatives
and the Sherwin-Williams Industrial and Marine sales organization number over
250 across North America. The General Polymers products are available in South
America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. We have a European partner with
manufacturing in the United Kingdom. Working with General Polymers products
allows you to specify the same flooring system in your facilities throughout
the world. Our Certified Contractor network guarantees quality installation
regardless of location.
National Focus Market Managers allow us to effectively support corporate accounts
and their projects worldwide. Sherwin-Williams recognizes the benefit of long-term
strategic relationships with multi- national and multi-facility organizations
wishing to standardize their finish needs and protect their real estate investments.
We actively promote this opportunity and will customize a program to meet our
customer's needs. No other company can provide the customer with a complete
