Welcome to CleanRiver™ Recycling Solutions, a division of Midpoint International. Founded in 1990, we celebrated our twentieth anniversary in the fall of 2010 with a new name and several new product innovations. The name CleanRiver was specifically chosen to reflect our ongoing commitment to reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfill.

Our commitment to supporting our customer's sustainability efforts remains as strong as ever and is supported by a proven track record as a leader in innovative, responsible recycling products and services. We are proud to have supported the recycling initiatives of a diverse range of companies and organizations including more than 300 college and university campuses across North America, 3,000 federal, state, provincial and municipal buildings, as well as 100 plus military installations around the world, including the Pentagon.

CleanRiver™ manufactures recycling containers, bins, and cabinets made from raw materials with the highest recycled content available. In addition, we support your recycling and sustainability efforts with a variety of programs to implement and maintain the efficient and productive recycling of paper, plastic, metal, and compostable materials, as well as e-waste, light bulbs, confidential materials, and more. These services include coordinating and tracking waste audits, interpreting waste stream regulations and guidelines, and ROI analysis.

An excellent example of this can be found in our Transition™ TRH Series Recycling Stations. The combination of long lasting high density polyethylene (HDPE) made from 98% recycled content, which is completely recyclable and a true cradle-to-cradle choice, with our most forward thinking and responsible designs make them the choice of environmental stewards at all levels.

At CleanRiver™, we think beyond the typical 3R’s. We think in terms of the 6R’s: Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Re-manufacture, and Respect.

Sustainability Principles

CleanRiver™ products are designed using environmentally responsible materials made with the highest percent recycled content available for the application. In keeping with our philosophy to reduce, reuse, recycle, and repurpose, CleanRiver™ products can be recycled at the end of use to complete a cradle-to-cradle (C2C), waste free, life cycle. Our products exceed EPA guidelines for post consumer recycled content to support LEED Certification Credits and BOMA BESt initiatives.

Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement

CleanRiver™’s manufacturing processes follow manufacturing principles focused on continuous daily improvement. Through a disciplined approach called Kaizen (the Japanese word for improvement), we have been able to reduce our lead times while providing better quality at a lower overall cost.

We reclaim, recycle, and reuse the cut offs and plastic debris chips that are created by our routering and milling operations when creating our plastic lumber products. The cut-offs and debris chips are cycle shipped back to our plastic lumber supplier and are used once again in the manufacturing of new lumber and this process continues over and over, closing the loop.

All CleanRiver™ manufactured products are designed with the highest degree of recycled content and environmentally friendly raw materials available on the market today. We constantly seek out new materials that can push the recycled content higher to ensure that you are receiving the most environmentally responsible product offering available on the market. All of our designs are created in house by our design and engineering team. We would be happy to work with you to create a one-of-a-kind custom recycling bin for your program.
