A sequential locking system offers ease of use to control all locking points for a tighter seal and better resistance to forced entry. This also helps maintain the window's clean lines for a more sophisticated appearance.
All-metal operator covers and handles are more durable than plastic covers found on other awning brands. Contour handles are standard, optional styles are round, "T", folding or ADA handle styles in Goldtone (standard) or White. An optional corrosion-resistant seacoast package is also available.
The concealed, solid metal hinge arm provides a clean look and more torque for years of smooth operation. The awning sash opens wide for maximum ventilation and easy cleaning from inside the home.
Low-maintenance vinyl-clad exteriors feature uPVC vinyl extrusions with high-impact modified stabilizers that offer strength and durability over regular vinyl. White, Cameo and Tan extrusion colors are specially formulated for consistency throughout the extrusion that helps make nicks and scratches that may occur over time less visible to the eye.
Built-in accessory channels on the exterior allow you to conveniently apply ProShield's snap-in exterior finishing accessories such as mull covers, J-channel and brick mould with integral J-channel.
The multi-chambered frame and sash improves structural integrity and thermal performance by minimizing expansion and contraction due to seasonal changes or differences in outside and inside temperatures.
Standard double-strength glass offers improved structural integrity. Glazing options include Insul Low E2 with Argon/Krypton gases, Insul Low E2 with Argon gas, Insul Low E2 or Insul. Specialty glass options include Tempered, Gray, Bronze and Obscure.
