LEGACY SERIES® AWNING WINDOWS

Designed for the most discerning homeowners, Legacy Series Awning windows open from the bottom to bring fresh air indoors at the crank of a smooth-operating handle. Single- to quadruple-wide window units may be mulled below casement windows to create a larger visual impact, or they may be installed alone for a streamlined appearance.

Two, cam-action sash locks are profiled to follow the jamb lines and secure the sash with a positive locking action. Finishes include Goldtone (standard), Pewter, Bright Brass, White or Oil-Rubbed Bronze.

Complement the style of your home or add your own distinctive look with optional Simulated Divided Lite (SDL), aluminum airspace or snap-in wood perimeter grilles featuring a "frame" design using concealed pins to snap them securely in place for superior strength compared to stick grilles found on other window brands.

Spring-loaded full screen systems feature injection-moulded corner keys and offer a choice of a standard, puncture-resistant mesh fiberglass screen cloth or an optional glare-resistant aluminum cloth.

A standard, all-metal contour operator handle is available in seven popular finishes. Optional round, "T", folding and ADA handles are also available.

Accentials Distinctive Colors & Finishes

With 55 standard and designer colors, plus virtually any custom color under the sun, Weather Shield's exclusive Accentials™ Distinctive Colors & Finishes program makes it easy to add a personal touch to the windows and doors of your home. Or, you can select from eight anodized aluminum exterior finishes that provide a durable, sleek appearance.

Standard double-strength glass offers improved structural integrity. Glazing options include Insul Low E2 with Argon/Krypton gases, Insul Low E2 with Argon gas, Insul Low E2 or Insul. Specialty glass options include Tempered, Gray, Bronze and Obscure.

Structural corner keys with injected silicone reinforce the frame corners to improve durability and resistance to air and water infiltration.

Exteriors feature low-maintenance, heavy-duty extruded aluminum cladding that resists denting, dimpling, fading and chalking far better than thinner roll-formed aluminum exteriors found on many other brands of windows. Plus, a rigid integral nailing fin provides greater structural stability and easier installation

The frame and sash are milled from kiln-dried wood and pre-treated with a non-toxic preservative that repels insects and prevents warping and rotting.
