Wausau Tile terrazzo tile is manufactured in the USA in three standard sizes; 12 inch, 16 inch, and 24 inch tiles.

Experience design flexibility with the multitude of colors and styles available and add an element of uniqueness to your project with waterjet cut designs, logos and lettering. Custom colors are also possible for limitless possibilities.

To achieve green status all of our terrazzo tile can be manufactured utilizing an array of colored recycled glass. These tiles are not only beautiful but can also qualify for LEED credits within your project.

Precast terrazzo tile, unlike poured terrazzo, installs in less time with less mess and can save up to 30% in over cost. Terrazzo tile is easy to maintain without the use of harsh or expensive cleaners and solvents.

Terrazzo tiles are manufactured with a high-polished surface and chamfered edges. The tiles are not factory sealed. Terrazzo tile is installed following the Tile Council of America specifications for installation F-111, F112 and F113. Expansion control EJ171 and crack isolation guidelines should also be followed. The substrate must have a 1/8" in ten foot tolerance to maintain a quality installation. Since the terrazzo tile is unsealed, a grout release or seal coat must be applied to the tile prior to grouting. After the grout has dried, follow manufacturer's instructions for removal of the grout release. Clean the floor thoroughly with a neutral pH cleaner and apply the final floor seal with a product compatible with cement terrazzo, following the sealer manufacturer's instructions.
