Custom-built spiral stairs arrive complete and ready to install in just a few hours.

Wagner Spiral Stairs are not kits. Our stairs are built to your specifications for your particular installation. The framework for our spiral stairs is structurally engineered to provide maximum strength and stability for a lifetime. We provide installation instructions in both printed and digital formats so that even first-time installers are able to completely install the spiral stair quickly.

Mix and match using Wagner's wide selection of metal and wood tread covers, platform covers, handrails and center column finials. Swap balusters shown for any of our other balusters and panels within tread width limitations.

Components are easily assembled without welding with usually less than 25 mechanical fasteners. Two people easily install our stairs usually in about two hours. No cutting, welding, or bending is required.

Each spiral stair is made to your specifications. Our spiral stairs are NOT adjustable, and unlike spiral stair kits, do not need adjustment. Each stair is fully assembled in the factory prior to shipment to ensure that it will fit your specific floor-to-floor height.

Wagner's spiral stairs can either be shipped KD – "Knocked-Down" or SU – "Set-Up". Unless specified otherwise all spiral stars are shipped KD. A KD stair is not a kit. Enjoy the confidence of knowing your stair is completely assembled during fabrication. This minimizes field assembly time and assures a quality product. A SU stair has all welded connections and can not be knocked down.

A variety of material can be used for the basic stair construction – center column and tread frames. Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel. Aluminum and Stainless are recommended for exterior applications to prevent corrosion. All hardwood is sanded to 80 grit, finished by others. Hardwood railcaps are supplied long to be job fit.

Treads and platform covers are available in frame only, carpet grade, red oak edge, cedar deck, pan, smooth, checkerplate, radial grate, glass block, laminated glass, laser cut and hardwood – red, oak, hard maple, hickory white oak, beech, cheery, Brazilian cherry walnut, and quarter sawn white oak.

Closed risers are required to meet some building code requirements. Riser options are available in econo risers, oak riser, scroll riser, and a solid riser.

Closures are available to conceal the bottom of the tread frame. Closure options are available in hardwood, smooth and glass block.

Finial options are available in painted cap, hardwood cap, basket finial, painted finial, brass finial, and chrome finial.
