LUMENRAIL^®

Lumenrail^® is the latest in LED technology now available for use in railing products.

The basic LED light stick is ¾” wide and in lengths as required. 65^° is recommended beam pattern for use in railing applications. 10^° and 45^° beam patterns are also available. In addition to warm and cool white, LED light stick is also available in red green blue and amber.

Lumenrail^® is an indoor/outdoor handrail that delivers functional illumination. Two intensities may be specified – standard light output and high output.

The standard light output version delivers illuminance levels appropriate for exterior application as well as dark interior environments with low ambient illumination levels – i.e. theatres, themed environments.

The high output versions deliver illuminance levels applicable to interior environments – providing in excess of 10 footcandles along the egress.

Rail frame systems are available in stainless steel and aluminum. This is a non mechanical system put together with splices and epoxy. Lumenrail may be post mounted or wall mounted. Mounting hardware – post or wall – is required up to 5’ or 6’ on center depending on the handrail alloy and structural code requirements.

The lighting fixture component of the Lumenrail^® is a standalone unit and is available in incremental nominal lengths and range from 6” to 54”. Each unit may be removed for maintenance purposes. Vandal resistant access chamber allows for quick disconnection.

The light fixture’s housing is made of light weight durable aluminum providing the recommended heat sink requirements for LEDs. Housing, optical assembly and stainless steel end caps are bonded to prevent water infiltration.

Lumenral^® rouses a low voltage LED based light fixture which is integrated into the underside of the handrail. It comes complete with the linear light fixture installed in handrail and required power supplies – drivers. Electrical daisy chain connections must be made on site.

Lumenrail^® is available in aluminum and stainless steel – polished or satin. Custom finishes are available upon request.

Lumenrail is ANSI and ADA compliant. However, it is the sole responsibility of the architect, builder, designer, and fabricator to familiarize themselves and comply with these national building codes and any local code which may differ.
