RJ-711 Adjustable Veneer Anchor
Plate is available in either 14 ga. or 12 ga.; wire is 3/16"
diameter. Available in mill galvanized, hot dipped and stainless steel.
Hook lengths are 3-1/4", 4-1/4" and 5-1/4". Hook
adjustments are a maximum of 1-1/4" up or down. Also available
for insulated walls.
In RJ-711 chart, a tension/pull out load was applied to samples using a
loading fixture positioned in a calibrated testing machine. A proof load
of 100 lbs was applied and held for 30 seconds. A deflection reading in
inches was taken prior to continuing the test to failure.
HCL-711 Anchor
An adapation of the popular RJ-711, HCL-711 has two new pointed prongs
which pierce wallboard and abut to backup (steel stud). 14-gauge prongs
allow little or no compressible movement where wallboard may deteriorate.
Useful in high wind environments and seismic areas III and higher where
wall board is installed between steel stud and insulation. Prong design
extends through 5/8" wallboard; plate extensions accommodate up to 2"
insulation. Anchor plates and ties are hot dipped galvanized or stainless
steel to meet ACI 530 code requirements for masonry structures. Screws
(top and bottom) recommended when attaching anchor plate to stud to add
strength and stability to system. Packaged 250 pcs/box. HCL anchor plates
(14g) and 3/16" adjustable double hooks available in hot dipped
galvanized and stainless steel.
