For more than a century, stone has been quarried, cut and shipped to sites around the world from Vetter quarries in the Kasota-Mankato stone district of Minnesota. A third generation family business, Vetter Stone has earned a reputation for consistent product quality, technical precision and personalized customer service.

Minnesota Stones are dense, durable dolomites available in earth tone colors of buffs, creams, tans, pinks and grays. The inviting warmth of this material adorns commercial and residential projects around the world.

Vetter Stone Company owns and operates Alabama Stone Company. Alabama Silver Shadow Stone is an Oolitic limestone that has been featured on monumental buildings since the late 1,800's. The charcoal veins over the light colored background give the stone an obvious natural appearance.

In addition to our Minnesota and Alabama Stone we offer Colorado Yule Stone, Red Sand Stone, Travertino and a large assortment of granites.

Vetter Stone Company operates one of the most modern and well-equipped stone production facilities in the United States.
