ThyssenKrupp Elevator has recently engaged sustainability consulting firm, Five Winds International, to help evaluate and improve our current business practices as they relate to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and recommend, co-develop and implement a company-wide sustainability strategy. At this time, all current procedures and processes are being reviewed for their environmental impact as well as any potential for improved sustainability. ThyssenKrupp has opted to temporally remove all ‘green’ materials from our brochures, web site and marketing collateral to ensure that all future statements are consistent, forth-coming and transparent.
While ThyssenKrupp Elevator develops and implements wide-reaching sustainability objectives, we are committed to helping contribute to U. S. Green Building Council’s LEED® certification for buildings through project analysis, and product recommendations. We currently offer energy efficient drives and control systems and are actively researching additional green solutions for our service business. As a conscientious corporate citizen, ThyssenKrupp Elevator is looking towards the future and is working diligently to develop products and services, which reduce energy consumption and encourage the use of reduced environmental impact materials.
