Pass-Through Chambers allow contamination-free transfer of materials
into and out of a cleanroom or laboratory. By eliminating the need for people
– the greatest single source of contamination in a cleanroom – to
carry these materials, they substantially improve both the cleanliness and efficiency
of cleanroom operations.
Terra's comprehensive line of pass throughs includes a configuration for nearly any application —
Select among 304/316 stainless steel (electropolishing available), cleanroom or dissipative laminate, polypropylene, acrylic or static-dissipative PVC. Where appropriate, viewing windows of a compatible material are included.
Standard sizes range from 12"W × 12"D × 12"H to 36"W × 36"D × 48"H. Larger no-clearance roll-up door models are up to 83"W × 50"D × 79"H. Chambers can be specified for wall mounting or floor mounting (with access ramps). Custom sizing is available.
These high-reliability mechanisms prevent the possibility of cross-contamination and are rated for millions of operations.

— Feature high-speed air nozzles that wash parts with HEPA-filtered air to remove particles before transfer into the cleanroom. A timer locks door operation for a programmable period while the air shower is in operation.
— Both active modules (including ventilation fan) and passive modules (for connection to existing exhaust duct) are available. Inlet HEPA filter removes sub-micron particles; exit HEPA and charcoal filters are available.
