These rooms use powder-coated 2.5" square steel uprights and cross members to create a free-standing frame that requires no suspended ceiling supports or other external bracing. Flexible panels are available in cleanroom vinyl or anti-static vinyl. Overlapping 8"-wide parting strip shields create versatile access zones anywhere along the room perimeter.
All softwall cleanrooms feature Grip-Track™ mounts that open and close without tools for easy panel mounting – they're both stronger and cleaner than Velcro®-style mounts. Grip-Track™ can be added anywhere along the ceiling support structure to hang internal partitions, or to create a gowning or staging area outside the primary clean room.
The ceiling grid accommodates 2' × 4' filter/fan units. A Terra configuration specialist assists in selection of filter type (HEPA or ULPA) and quantity to meet cleanliness standards to Class 10-100,000 / ISO 4-8.
Ionization – low-voltage ionizing bars, integrated into
FFUs, control surface charges and the particles they attract
Special Lighting – in addition to standard fluorescent
fixtures, Terra offers teardrop lights installed below ceiling FFUs, or UV lights
for sterilization or fluorescence detection.
Special Utilities – provisions for vacuum, air, nitrogen,
and other utilities.
Based on your environmental requirements, Terra application engineers prepare a recommended configuration and complete system drawings.
