700 Series Handrail - Low Cost

The LOW COST Handrail

Tepromark’s familiar, one-piece handrail. An excellent investment for the cost conscious institution, offering the least expensive personal support and wall protection system for the corridors and hallway of hospitals and retirement homes. The 700 series is UL approved and meets ADA standards. Provides secure, maximum personal support.

• Safe and secure. Unique design eliminates the possibility of fractures to hands, wrists and arms when caught in the space left open between the wall and rail of conventional hand rails.
• One piece 8 inch high vinyl extrusion allows for cost effective and easy installation.
• Snaps into place over hidden brackets or aluminum retainer, Resilient when impacted and springs back to its original shape.
• Ribbed surface adds strength and prevents marring.
• Sanitary smooth surface on top of handrail allows for easy cleaning.
• Meets ADA specifications for adequate knuckle space.
• Matching molded ABS end caps.

System Components

500-01 Aluminum Retainer - Profiled aluminum extrusion over which PVC cover is mounted. Standard length is 12 feet.

700-03 Vinyl Cover - Extruded PVC cover designed to mount in an aluminum retainer or plastic brackets. Standard length is 12 feet.

700-04 End Cap - Left, molded ABS end piece

700-05 End Cap - Right, molded ABS end piece

500-07 Metal joint Block - Extra impact strength where ends of PVC covers are butted against one another. (For use only when mounted on brackets)

500-08 Mounting Bracket - plastic

Colors
Available in Ivory, beige, black, chocolate, charcoal gray and white.

Installation
Each order is shipped with a complete installation Guide that outlines step by step installation procedures. The guides are available at any time by calling toll free or by e-mail.

Ordering information
Any quantity will be shipped in colors indicated above. For other colors in the standard palette for less than 1000 feet there will be a set-up charge. Any colors will be matched with an order of 2500 feet or more. There will be a surcharge for orders less than 2500 feet.
