500 and 510 Series - 5 inch Crash Rail

A COMPLETE wall damage protection and preservation system

500 and 510 Crash Rails offer a complete interior wall damage protection and preservation system. They meet UL requirements. Available textured .080 inch thick (500 Series) or ribbed .100” thick (510 Series) scratch and stain resistant, rigid vinyl rail that is mounted on .080 inch thick continuous aluminum retainers or on sturdy plastic brackets. Corners and returns are molded from .100 inch thick ABS designed with maximum webbing for matchless impact protection. Provides a 5” wide band of cover.

Where used

TEPROMARK Crash Rails should be installed wherever moving objects that result in gouges, scratches and scuffs can damage vertical interior surfaces. Their attractive designs enhance any space where they are installed.

• On walls and partitions in lobbies, waiting rooms, ballrooms, meeting rooms, hallways and other heavily trafficked areas of commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, retirement homes and sports centers
• Counters in retail stores, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, offices. Etc.
• Displays cabinets and plinths used in retail stores, hotels, etc.
• Rectangular columns.

• Offers protection from wheelchairs, carts, beds and hand held items carelessly brushed against the wall.
• Protects against fungus and bacteria growth.
• Preserves a wide band of the wall at the height where most damage occurs. The crash rail is 5 inches high and projects 1-9/32 inches from the wall.
• A complete system that includes molded ABS end caps, outside corners and inside corners. Only 500 series has an inside corner. Wide range of colors.
• Rails are provided in 12 foot lengths.
• Apply at two levels on the wall to protect against impact damage from the top or bottom of wheel chairs and carts moving through a corridor.
• Impact absorbers, firmly held in place, increase strength and protect the crash rail from damage when severely impacted. The impact absorber is mounted along the entire length of the aluminum retainer. Plastic brackets have built in impact absorbers.
• Installs easily by snapping the vinyl cover over mounting brackets or continuous aluminum retainer.
• Reduces maintenance and cleaning costs. Smooth top makes it easier to wipe clean. Textured (500 Series) or ribbed (510 Series) surfaces along the length of the rail prevents gouges, scuffs and scratches that can lead to early replacement when materials, such as wood, are used.

Mounting options 1-2 represent an ascending scale of durability and cost.

Mounting option 1
A textured or ribbed vinyl cover mounted on plastic brackets.

Mounting option 2
A textured or ribbed vinyl cover mounted on a continuous retainer with an impact absorber.

500-03 - Vinyl Cover (textured) extruded PVC profile designed to mount over an aluminum retainer or plastic brackets. Standard length is 12 feet.

510-03 - Vinyl Cover (ribbed) Extruded PVC profile designed to mount over an aluminum retainer or plastic brackets. Standard length 12 feet.

Ordering Information
Any quantity will be shipped in “Quick Ship” program colors. Other colors in the standards palette for less than 1000 feet there will be a set up charge. Any color will be matched with an order of 2500 feet or more. There will be a surcharge for orders less than 2500 feet.
