Designed to meet the specific security and acoustical requirements in confinement areas, the Tectum Direct Attachment Ceiling / Wall System has been successfully used in hundreds of correctional facilities across the country. The system is ideal for large, recreational facilities, dormitories and dining halls, as well as corridors where one long, steel-backed panel can span the corridor width. The Tectum panels used for the direct attachment ceiling / wall systems are as follows:

• Tectum 1" acoustical panels beveled on all four sides.
• Tectum 1 1/2" acoustical panels with T&G detailing on all four sides.

To install, simply attach the panels in an Ashlar pattern directly to the ceiling, furring, or drywall suspension grid using tamper-resistant screws.
