Stanley’s new IS 10000 series of industrial sliders offers heavy duty telescoping sliding door packages to efficiently automate accessways for a wide range of industrial and large retail-type operations. They are custom engineered to provide the same reliability, serviceability and safety as Stanley’s well-known and respected Dura-Glide line of lighter-duty sliding doors.

Available in two- and four-panel configurations with widths from 10 to 20 feet and heights from eight to 12 feet, both in two-foot increments, these doors manage traffic, security and energy conservation with great flexibility. For instance, the doors are equipped with special sensors that automatically size the opening to the need: they open wide to accommodate forklifts and other large or bulky traffic, yet provide a narrower passage for pedestrians. Their synchronized telescoping — the inside panels move faster than the others to ensure smooth, coordinated operation — may be activated by a variety of devices. These include Stanley microwave sensors, as well as keyswitch, keypad, pull cord and radio transmitter controls.

Suitable for new construction, remodeling or retrofit applications, the IS 10000 series sliders can accommodate doors up to 400 pounds. They offer glass and solid panels with intermediate rail fixtures, as well as a variety of finishes, including painted aluminum, and clear or dark bronze. Full weatherstripping and bottom sweeps reduce air infiltration. Safety is provided through Stanley microwave motion sensors, dual doorway holding beams in moving panels, and reverse-on-obstruction features to guard against injuries or damage to equipment and materials.
