Specifically designed for intensive care and cardiac care applications, this new
door offers a new design choice for healthcare professionals that provides ease

The 7600 Series™ ICU Door System combines a manual swing and two-panel
bi-fold door into a single unit design with one continuous header. The one piece
design connects the two diverse door types into a smooth continuous package.
This design also eliminates the need to cut a crease in two headers to make a bifold
and manual door into one door. Measuring 1.75" × 4 1/2", the thickness of the
header is extremely thin and narrow, allowing a comfortable fit in hospital
environments.
One of the distinctive advantages of the 7600 Series™ ICU Door package
compared to other door products is its ability to maximize bi-directional egress
with no threshold. The absence of a threshold enables medical professionals to
quickly transport hospital beds, patients and equipment, thus reducing the risk of
potentially tripping which may cause further injury to sensitive patients.

The door system includes 105-degree hold-open feature that allows the swing
door to latch in and stay open when pushed past 105 degrees. This feature is
designed for the steady flow of multiple healthcare professionals, patients or
equipment that requires a smooth and quick transition through the doorway.
When combined with the full open bi-fold door a wider clear door opening is
provided, making the 7600 Series™ ICU package the ideal solution for the busy
ICU environment. When the doors are shut, the wide glass panels provide
healthcare workers with an unobstructed view of activity in the next room or
corridor to enable quicker movement when seconds count.
Another key feature of the door system is the manual breakout capability which is
integrated into the two panel bi-fold doors and available on demand through the
easy release of a flush bolt located in the end stile of the bi-fold door. The
manual bi-directional breakout from the header creates a wider door opening that
also maximizes space. The sleek design of the swing door and two panel bi-fold
doors provides flexible access and creates an opening that measures almost the
entire width of the door when completely opened. These features make the 7600
Series™ ICU door package ideal for ICU/CCU applications where there is
typically a high level of activity and traffic.
- Swing door push bars which enable easy entrance and exit.
- 1" finger guards positioned over jambs and between the two folding
doors for safety and protection against accidental pinching.
- Adjustable bottom pivots in both bottom corners that allow quick and
easy installation and adjustment.
- Top Door Guide Track which is recessed inside the header and guides
the bi-fold panels during opening and closing.
When used in combination with the flush bolt, full breakout is enabled.
- Flush Bolt located at the end of the bi-fold door.
Used to release and connect the top door guide during times of full breakout quickly and
easily.
