Over 30 years of broad international experience in the design, fabrication
and installation of tension membrane structures!
Architectural tensioned membrane structures are todays preferred choice
whenever a dramatic, unique architectural statement is called for. We at
Span Systems fluently speak the language of curvilinear, anti clastic surface
geometries. Whether the initial concept is developed in house or provided
by the architect or owner, our expertise can turn any concept into a structurally
sound, economic reality. Our complete in- house responsibility from start
to finish results in a finished product that is outstanding in every sense
of the word. Span Systems provides complete design-build expertise for
unique tensioned membrane projects worldwide!
Our Tensioned Membranes are fabricated using the highest
quality coated fabrics available today!

Design Flexibility
At Span Systems, we work with the designer/architect to turn vision into reality. Options are not limited by specific sizes, widths or configurations.
Spandomes require supports only at their corners. The walls are structurally
independent from the roof. Therefore, walls are non-load-bearing and can
be made of a variety of materials, including:
-
Fabric
-
Galvanized Steel
-
Masonry
-
Glass
-
Reinforced Concrete
-
Kalwall® Translucent Sandwich Panels
-
Netting and Chain Link Fencing
Wall openings can be of virtually any width and wall systems can be designed
to be openable or removable to allow natural climate control. Sunshade/canopy
structures without walls are also available.
Fully insulated structures (up to R=30) are optional. Lighting and HVAC
can also be provided with any structure.
Structural support members may be fabricated from steel, aluminum, wood
or fiberglass.
Teflon and Tedlar are registered trademarks of Dupont.
