High-Efficiency Urinals (HEU) are urinal fixtures that flush at 0.5 gpf/1.9 Lpf or less, which is 50 percent less than the current maximum mandated by the federal Energy Policy Act of 1992.
Sloan’s High-Efficiency Urinal Systems, which are part of The Efficiency Series by Sloan™, utilize as little as 1 pint (0.5 liters) of water. Choose from one manual model or several electronic models. Touchfree, automatic Flushometers include battery-powered, hardwired and solar-powered models.
The HEU systems, part of Sloan’s next generation of water-efficient plumbing products, contribute to LEED® Credits 3.1 and 3.2 for water use reduction. These HEUs provide effective, low-maintenance flushing in public restrooms while reducing water consumption by as much as 88 percent.
