A High-Efficiency Toilet (HET) is defined as a fixture that flushes at 20 percent below the 1.6 gpf/6.0 Lpf maximum or less, equating to a maximum of 1.28 gpf/4.8 Lpf. Dual-flush toilets fall under the HET category.
Sloan’s new High-Efficiency Toilet Systems, part of The Efficiency Series by Sloan™, combine vitreous china toilet fixtures with your choice of water-efficient electronic and manual Flushometers that use no more than 1.28 gpf on average. Electronic Flushometers are available in hardwired, battery-powered and solar-powered models.
Three dual-flush Flushometers are included in the HET System series:
- Sloan ECOS™, which allows restroom visitors to either choose a regular or reduced flush by pushing a button on top of the valve ... or simply walk away and let the Flushometer initiate the proper flush volume.
- Sloan SOLIS®, the industry’s first solar-powered, electronic dual-flush Flushometer.
- UPPERCUT®, a manual Flushometer with an antimicrobial-coated handle.
