Perforated Plate-Flex Grip®:
Perforated plate easily retrofits over existing grating and combines the flow through advantages of grating and the solid surface of a plate.  Industries such as: transportation, commercial, manufacturing, and water and wastes water treatment ensure safe conditions by using SlipNOT®.  Some applications of perforated plate are: drainage areas, stair landings, bicycle paths, maintenance areas and many others.


General Information:

  • Available stock thickness: 1/8,” 3/16,” ¼”
  • Available stock width: 4’
  • Available stock length: 8’, 10’
  • Available patterns:
    • ¼” diameter on 3/8 staggered center
    •  3/8” diameter on 9/16” centers
    • ½” diameter on 11/16” centers
    • 9/16” diameter on ¾” centers
    • A wide variety of options available
  • Standard Tolerance: Mill, or + or – 1/8”
  • Margins: Standard minimum margins.
  • Availability: Plate is available in stock sizes or manufactured and fabricated to detailed print specifications.
  • Slip Resistant Standards: Plates exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT® ’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85.
  • Note: Perforation removes about 2/3 of the strength from the plate.  Additional supports may be required.
  • Fabrication: Plates can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, drilled and punched for complete versatility both in the shop and field. 
  • Care: Clean SlipNOT® by standard industrial cleaning methods.

Steel Perforated Plate:

    Product Features:
  • Advantages: SlipNOT® Steel perforated plate has an unmatched surface hardness, a long life and a lower cost.  Plate flexes when walked on to prevent worker fatigue.
  • Durability: Perforated plates coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface of over 55 Rc with a bond strength of over 4000 psi.
  • Finishes: Plate can be ordered in mill finish, painted, or can be hot dipped galvanized.

Aluminum Perforated Plate:

    Product Information:
  • Available SlipNOT®surface: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Steel
  • Available in Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.), (Grade 3 Coarse, only offered on Steel SlipNOT® surface).
    Product Features:
  • Advantages: SlipNOT®Aluminum perforated plate is lightweight, durable, and does not rust.  Plate flexes when walked on to prevent worker fatigue.
  • Durability: Perforated plates coated with SlipNOT® a bond strength of 2000 psi.
  • Finishes: Plate can be ordered in mill finish or painted.

Stainless Steel Perforated Plate:

  • Available in Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.)
    Product Features:
  • Advantages: SlipNOT® Stainless Steel perforated plate is chemically resistant and does not rust.  Plate flexes when walked on to prevent worker fatigue.
  • Durability: Perforated plates coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface of over 55 Rc with a bond strength of over 4000 psi.
  • Finishes: Perforated plate can be ordered in mill finish.
  • Food Processing: SlipNOT® Stainless Steel products are NSF registered and are currently used in food processing plants, cheese plants, poultry processors and beverages plants among others.

Galvanized Perforated Plate:

  • Available in: Grade 2 (Med.) or Grade 3 (Coarse)
    Product Features:
