Salsburys private access aluminum mailboxes are ideal for use in colleges and schools, private postal centers, government agencies, corporate mailrooms, military bases, police stations and many other applications.
There are two different systems of aluminum mailboxes. The STANDARD SYSTEM mailboxes are 23-1/4 W x 30 H x 15-1/2 D. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. The RACK LADDER SYSTEM units are 23-1/4 W x 12-1/8 H x 15-1/2 D. They are designed to be installed between rack ladders. Rack ladders support five (5) units to form a column of units
Salsbury 2400 series data distribution system aluminum boxes have 1/4'' thick extruded aluminum doors with a durable powder coated aluminum finish. Each door includes a 3/4'' H door slot, a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys and is hinged horizontally at the bottom. Alternative locking systems (see related items) are available. Doors are available without slots upon request. The compartments have open backs (rear covers - related item #2451 - are available as an option upon request) and are constructed of 20 gauge steel. All units have the same outside dimensions. Data distribution system boxes are designed to be installed between rack ladders (#2400). The rack ladders support five (5) units to form a column of boxes. Data distribution system boxes can also be used in Free-Standing Rotary Mail Centers and Free-Standing Roll-A-Bout Mail Centers.
Salsbury 2000 series brass mailboxes have solid brass die-cast doors which include a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys, a clear 1/4" thick glass window and a nameplate to identify the tenants name and/or box number. The doors are hinged on brass frames and are attached to the individual compartments with four (4) screws. The mailbox compartments are constructed of 20 gauge steel and powder coated tan. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. Mailbox units have the same outside dimensions. Rear loading units can also be used in Free-Standing Rotary Mail Centers and Free-Standing Roll-A-Bout Mail Centers.
If Rear Loading: Units have open backs. Hinged locking rear covers (related item #2050) are available as an option upon request.
If Front Loading: Units include solid rear covers. Two (2) master commercial locks with two (2) keys open a door panel that swings on a continuous hinge. All openings are usable.
