Triple-Pane Glazing Switchable Glass Dynamic, highly insulating, triple-pane glazing Energy efficiency is important to all of us and to the health of our planet. Its especially important for people who live in colder climates and need to keep heat inside during cold weather. For these or any clients who want added insulation and energy savings, SageGlass® triple-pane glazing is the most energy-efficient building-glass solution available today. SageGlass® achieves a U-factor as low as .14 Btu/hr·ft2·°F, equivalent to a more-than-50% reduction in energy consumption over clear, single-pane glazings and a 15% reduction compared to state-of-the-art static triple-pane glazings. Energy and emissions modeling In a study by Paladino and Company, SageGlass® triple-pane glazing achieved superior results over other glazing solutions, demonstrating lower electricity costs, lower HVAC requirements and a smaller carbon footprint. The sustainability and green building consulting firm compared glazings for both a northern climate (Minneapolis) and a mixed climate (Washington, DC) based on a typical US office building.

We offer our dynamic, triple-pane insulating glass units (IGUs) in many configurations for a wide variety of applications.
Optical data Optical data for monolithic SageGlass® panes is available in the International Glazing Database supported by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. This allows you to carry out whole glazing system performance calculations using the Window 5.2 modeling program. We can perform these calculations for your project on request. Sizes and availability SageGlass® products are available in dimensions up to 40 inches by 60 inches (102 cm x 152 cm). Our new plant will manufacture glass in sizes up to 5 feet by 10 feet (1.5 m x 3.5 m). Shapes We offer rectangles, squares, parallelograms, trapezoids and triangles. We are continuing to expand our product line, so contact us if youd like to talk about a special shape. Power consumption It takes less electricity to operate 2,000 square feet of SageGlass® windows than it does to power a single 60-watt light bulb. IGU Performance Data Chart
