Features an energy-efficient passive infrared sensor that waits for a target to approach. Once a target is validated, the active IR sensor is turned on to detect hands under the spout. As handwashing begins, patented radio frequency technology turns water on and off based on the active IR’s instructions. Once the target leaves the area, the active IR shuts down, returning the passive IR to the detection mode. By using low-power passive IR as a trigger, sampling rates for the active IR can be increased.

ADA-compliant faucet features wireless connection between faucet and splash-proof circuit control module; self-calibrating passive infrared sensing; audible tone for troubleshooting and low battery indicator; serviceable filtered solenoid valve; back-check tee for hot/cold supply; trim plate with anti-rotation pin (4” or 8”); automatically assigned signal identification; four C-size alkaline batteries for control module; and two DL123A lithium batteries for spout. Variations include -4 (4” trim plate for centerset sink) and -8 (8” trim plate for centerset sink).
