The push-button actuators supplied with Sloan Series 900 Hydraulic Flushometers
are available in several styles to meet a variety of installation needs and
design preferences. The actuator type must be specified when ordering the Hydraulic
Flushometer. The push-button actuators supplied with Sloan Hydraulic Flushometers
meet the installation and operational requirements of the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) and other Accessibility Codes and Requirements. Push buttons require
less than 3 pounds (1.4 kg) to actuate and can be positioned to meet an individual
user's particular needs. Hydraulic Flushometers can be supplied for both concealed
and exposed installations. Hydraulic valve models are available for water closets,
urinals and service sinks and can also be furnished with Sloan's Slimline Bedpan
Washers.
The Sloan Series 900 Hydraulic Flushometer System is designed for user convenience.
It features a push-button actuator that can be remotely positioned from the
valve, making the Hydraulic Flushometer ideal for difficult installations.
Hydraulic Flushometers use line water pressure to actuate the valve. When the
button is pressed, the pressurized water flows back to a cartridge in the valve,
which, in turn, trips the diaphragm and enables delivery of an accurate flush.
