Wind Driven Louvers

Ruskin Wind-Driven louvers are designed to prevent the penetration of wind-driven rain in storm situations, reducting damage and additional operating expenses that can occur with standard wall louvers.

EME3625 : Wind-Driven Rain Resistant Stationary Louver

The EME3625 has a 3" deep frame and vertical blades.

It features:

• 45% free area.
• Closely spaced vertical blades that prevent the penetration of wind-driven rain, reducing damage and additional operating expenses.
• Less expensive than 4" and 6" wind-driven rain models.
• Aluminum construction for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion.

EME420DD : Stationary Wind Driven Rain Louver

The EME420DD Stationary Wind Driven Rain Louvers has a 4" deep frame and sightproof blade's.

It features:

• AMCA Certified over 99% effective ratio wind driven rain performance at both 29 mph and 50 mph.
• AMCA Certified Air and Water Performance.
• Maximum 1250 fpm water penetration.
• Continuous blade lengths up to 120" wide.

EME4625 : Stationary Rain-Resistant Louver

The EME4625 has a 4" deep frame and vertical blades. It features:

• 41% free area.
• Closely spaced vertical blades that prevent the penetration of wind-driven rain, reducing damage and additional operating expenses.
• Less expensive than 6" wind driven rain models.
• Aluminum construction for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion.

EME520DD : Wind-Driven Rain Resistant Louver

The EME520DD Stationary Louver has a 5" deep frame and a 20 degree blade angle. It features:

• 44% free area.
• Closely spaced horizontal blades that prevent the pentration of wind-driven rain.
• Excellent pressure drop performance.
• Aluminum construction for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion.

EME520MD : Wind Driven Rain Resistant Stationary Louver

The EME520MD Wind Driven Rain Resistant Stationary Louver is Miami-Dade County Approved for high windload and impact resistance. It provides Class A AMCA wind driven rain resistance to minimize rain infiltration. It also utilizes Ruskin's UFF Universal Flange Frame system for quick and easy installation in most any kind of wall construction. The EME520MD features:

• Miami-Dade NOA #05-0812.07
• Approval for use in open structures with provisions to manage weather infiltration.
• Missile impact resistant.
• Designed to withstand up to ±140 psf windload.
• AMCA Class A wind driven rain resistance (99.7% effective) at 1,327 fpm free area velocity.
• UFF frame eliminates anchors into the walls and provides the fastest installation method available.

EME6325D : Hurricane Louver

The EME6325D is Miami Dade and Florida approved. This 6" deep vertical louver passed the TAS-100A wind driven rain test without a damper or sloped duct at rear. It features:

• AMCA Certified Class A 99.9% effective ratio wind driven rain performance at both 29 mph and 50 mph.
• Tested to the following FBC/Miami Dade County Test protocols.
• TAS-100A Wind Driven Rain Test
• TAS-201 Large Missile Impact Test
• TAS-202 Uniform Static pressure
• TAS-203 Cyclic Pressure Test
• Approved for locations up to 33 ft. above grade for "dry" room locations.
• AMCA Certified Air and Water Penetration.
• Maximum windload ±150PSF (±7.18 KPa).
• Aluminum clip angle installation.

EME6625 : Stationary Rain-Resistant Louver

The EME6625 has a 6" deep frame and vertical blades. It features:

• 43% free area.
• Closely spaced vertical blades that prevent the penetration of wind-driven rain, reducing damage and additional operating expenses.
• Excellent pressure drop performance.
• Aluminum construction for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion.

EME6625D : Miami-Dade County Approved Stationary Louver

The EME6625D Stationary Louver is Miami-Dade County Approved. Its frame is 6" deep and it has vertical blades. It features:

• Approval for use in open structures with provisions to manage weather infiltration.
• Approval for closed structures with or without provisions to manage weather infiltration when combined with optional CD50 Damper.
• Miami-Dade NOA #06-1205.08 for EME6625D and EME6625D/CD50 combination
• Florida Product Approval numbers (2001 code version):
• FL 3286.1 - EME6625D
• FL 3286.2 - EME6625D/CD50 combination

EME737 : Wind Driven Rain Louver

The EME737 Stationary Wind Driven Rain Louver has a 7" deep single frame and horizontal sightproof blades. It features:

• AMCA Certified over 99% effective ratio wind driven rain performance at 29 mph. Ratings also for 50 mph.
• AMCA Certified Air and Water Performance.
• Single frame construction
• Full depth miter corners
• Continuous sight proof blade lengths up to 120" wide.

EME745 : Wind-Driven Rain Resistant Stationary Louver

The EME745 stationary louver is 7" deep and features a continuous blade, two component design. It features:

• 49% Free Area (48" x 48" size).
• A two component design that allows continuous blade appearance while providing wind driven rain resistance.
• Good pressure drop performance.
• Aluminum construction for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion.

EME820DD : Stationary Louver

The EME820DD Stationary Louver is 8" deep and has a 54 degree blade angle. It features:

• 46% free area.
• Special blade profile prevents wind driven rain penetration.
• Drain gutter in each blade; downspouts in jambs and mullions to drain water from louver for minimum water cascade from blade-to-blade.
• All aluminum construction for low maintenance and high resistance to corrosion.
