HIGH PERFORMANCE LOUVERS

Ruskin’s line of louver products meets a wide variety of intake, exhaust and screening applications while enhancing the aesthetic value of the most demanding architectural styles. Many Ruskin louvers are licensed to bear the AMCA Seal of Performance.

Stationary Louvers offer weather protection and prevent water penetration. Available features are:

• Drainable blades with downspouts in jambs and mullions.
• Continuous blade appearance on selected models for uninterrupted lines.
• Extruded aluminum or galvanized steel construction with caulking surfaces.
• Hidden mullions for architectural styling and windload resistance.
• Box channel frame or flanged frame.
• Various depths available.
• Multiple blade angles available for various performance characteristics.
• A variety of accessories: Bird and insect screens, extended sill, hinged frame, security bars and filter racks.
• In-house color matching capabilities in a selection of finishes. Ruskin features highly weather resistant Kynar finishes as well as integral color and clear anodize.

Adjustable Louvers and Louver/Damper Combinations combine architectural styling with air control and shut-off. They offer these additional features:

• Vinyl or foam blade edge seals for tight blade-to-blade closure.
• Compressible jamb seals for tight blade-to-frame closure.
• Concealed linkage.
• Stainless steel bearings with plated steel hex axles for smooth, reliable operation.
• Selection of manual, electric and pneumatic actuators.

Equipment Screens conceal items behind while allowing airflow through the units. Grilles provide attractive appearance to both active and non-active applications. Features include:

• Extruded aluminum construction on most models produces clean lines and allows for a wide range of finish availability.
• Horizontal and vertical blade configurations available.
• Engineered drawings accompany every order containing construction and installation details.

Finishes provide both corrosion resistance and a more pleasing appearance than non-finished metal. Ruskin’s finish features include:

• A wide variety of Kynar finishes for long life and excellent color retention.
• In-house computer color matching for quick and accurate formulation of custom colors.
• Clear and color anodizing for basic metal protection.

AMCA Licensed Ratings are carried by many Ruskin Louver Models, with Air Performance and Water Penetration data ratings based on tests and procedures conducted in accordance with AMCA Publication 511. All Ruskin louvers are tested with mill finish.
