Rmax Tapered Thermaroof®-3 Thermal Roof Insulation for Use with Most Types of Roofing Membranes

Rmax's Tapered Thermaroof-3 roofing insulation is manufactured with a slope of 1/8", 1/4", or 1/2" per foot to provide improved roof drainage and is suitable for single-ply, built-up or modified bitumen membranes on new or retrofit applications.

Product Description
Tapered Thermaroof-3 roofing insulation is a highly efficient thermal insulation board composed of a rigid closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to glass fiber/organic mat facers on both sides of the product. Tapered Thermaroof-3 utilizes an HCFC free blowing agent. The top surface is manufactured with a 1/8", 1/4", or 1/2" per foot slope to provide for positive roof drainage.

Applications – New and Retrofit
Tapered Thermaroof-3 Roof Insulation is approved for use in new roofing constructions and limited retrofit/recover roofing constructions over steel, wood, non-combustible and certain types of nailable roof decks. Refer to specs sheet for specifications on securing Tapered Thermaroof-3 Roofing Insulation to roof structure.

Compliances
Product Specification – ASTM C1283, TYPE II
Factory Mutual – Class 1 Roof Insulation (minimum thickness = 1.5") per FM Standard 4450. Subject to the conditions of approval as a Roof Insulation when installed as described in the current edition of the FMRC Approval Guide. Underwriters Laboratories – Classified ( Class A) Foamed Plastic as roof deck construction material. Meets UL Standards 790, 1256 and/or 263 – Contact Rmax Sales for latest information.
