Trak-Fold Center-Strut Backstop

Compact Style Provides Maximum Clearance
The Trak-Fold™ rear-folding backstop is designed to provide maximum clearance over the main court playing area, leaving volleyball and badminton courts virtually free of overhead obstructions. The Trak-Fold™ is designed for attachment heights from 18' to 32' and can fold backward in a compact space which would not accommodate a traditional rear-fold backstop.

Backstop superstructure is supported by fittings that have been tested as capable of supporting a load exceeding 10,000 lbs. with a 60:1 safety factor. The carrier/hanger assembly fully encompasses the track system for a structurally sound and safe attachment. Porter’s proven Center-Strut® construction eliminates the occurrence of shattered glass backboards by putting stress from crushing slam-dunks on the mast and superstructure, not on the backboard.

V-guide with two-wheel carriers provides a unique tracking system, which allows the adjustable hinge mast supports to move forward as the backboard folds compactly against the wall. The sloped track weight-locks the backstop in the down position making the entire system completely rigid while in play. Includes all of Porter’s proven, high quality components including Center-Strut® vertical drop frame, 6-5/8" O.D. heavy wall structural steel, back brace assembly with folding knee joint, adjustable hangers and electric operation. Available with optional Powr-Touch™ or Sportsonic® operating systems.
