You have two wrestling mats and the season is over… or the wrestling room is needed for a meeting… or a multitude of events transpire during the course of the school year in this multi-purpose, wrestling room-gymnasium. The Mat Mover® by Porter is the safest and most economical way to move and store wrestling mats.

Not only will the Mat Mover® return valuable floor space to be better utilized; it will eliminate the dangerous, heavy and awkward lifting by students and coaches. Mats will be protected during transit and while in their storage position.

The Mat Mover® two motor system is advantageous for many installation situations, requiring minimal structure for attaching to sloped roofs. A traditional one motor system would require extensive structure to level the unit or cradle under the ductwork.

Mini Stationary Mat Mover®
Specify No. 1105 Series
The mini stationary unit can store from one (1) to three (3) 14' x 42' mats. An audible motion alarm is furnished as standard and will alert athletes when unit is in motion. This single 1.5 HP motor system is ideal for storing sectional mats. Contact Porter or your Porter Dealer for part numbers and detailed specifications.

Traveling Mat Mover®
Specify 1100 Series – Traveling Mat Mover®
An Ideal Way to Transport and Store Mats! The traveling Mat Mover® is an ideal storage system which lifts and transports mats to and from balcony storage, second level wrestling rooms or simply moves the mats from above spectator seating areas. The traveling unit can transport from one (1) to three (3) 14' x 42' mats or one (1) 45' x 45' mat, depending upon your needs. Each unit is available in “end first” travel or “sideways” travel, to accommodate virtually any facility requirement.

• Fully Welded Steel Ladder Frame Carriage
• Flashing Red Strobe Light and Audible Motion Alarm will Alert Athletes when Unit is in Motion
• Control panel includes a main disconnect switch, control circuit transformer with primary & secondary protection, two (2) full voltage reversing contractors with motor circuit protection, and relay lockout to prevent unit from traveling horizontally when in the down position.
• Redundant “UP” Limit Switch for Added Safety
• Drive Tractor with Variable Traction Drive Wheel

Motion Alarm System
For the utmost in safety an audible motion alarm sounds when the system is in motion. This is a great feature to increase athlete's awareness when mats are being moved in and out of storage.

Watchdog Timer
Watchdog timer, a back-up safety system to each hoist unit’s self-monitoring system, is activated each time the Mat Mover® is used. Should the self-monitoring system turn off for any reason, the watchdog timers will “time-out”, shutting down the entire system. It’s the same as having a guard on duty 24 hours a day!

The Mat Mover® Slings – Available for Stationary and Traveling Systems
Slings are furnished as standard in black, however a variety of other colors are available. Standard sling configurations are listed below.
