INTRODUCTION TO LOCKERS
Penco lockers stand the test of time.
We know, because we have been making steel storage products since 1869.
The following screens contain specifications for a number of different
types of Penco locker models. Here is a summary.

K. D. (Knocked Down) Lockers
VANGUARD MODELS:
Vanguard Standard Lockers
These lockers have been the industry
standard for rugged, dependable design. Large doors feature the exclusive
patented Vanguard die cast handle. Special nylon glides fastened to the
latch channel assembly help to minimize noise. Smaller doors feature friction-catch
door pulls. Doors have louvers. All types accept built-in locks and padlocks.
Vanguard lockers are available in the widest assortment of configurations
and sizes.
Vanguard Lockers With Recessed
Pocket
This locker is the same design as
the standard Vanguard, with the exception that the die cast handle is replaced
with a deep drawn stainless steel Classic III recessed pocket. They are
available as one, two or three tier, plus Two Person and Duplex.
GUARDIAN MODELS:
Guardian Standard Lockers
Guardian Standard lockers feature
stainless steel recessed handles and louverless doors. Special nylon glides
fastened to the latch channel assembly help to minimize noise. Air flow
slots are located in the top and bottom flanges of the door. Doors accept
built-in locks or padlocks.
Guardian " Medallion Option" Lockers
The Medallion option features the
addition of a sound-dampening panel welded to the inside of the door for
quieter closing.
Guardian Plus Lockers
This locker is the same design as
the Guardian Standard, with the exception that the door is manufactured
from heavier 14 gauge steel. This is ideally suited for school corridors
where heavier than usual abuse is anticipated.
Guardian "Defiant" Single Point
Latch (SPL) Lockers
Same as the Guardian Standard Lockers
except that these lockers have a 14 gauge one piece Defiant door with integral
box beam stiffening reinforcements on the hinge and latch sides. For ease
of maintenance, there are no moving latch parts. Stainless steel recessed
pocket has integral finger grip door pull. Accepts built-in locks or padlocks.
INVINCIBLE II MODELS:
Invincible II Heavy Duty Team
Room Lockers
Invincible II lockers are designed
for heavy duty use in the storage of athletic gear, or wherever a high
degree of ventilation is required. The doors and sides are perforated with
a diamond-shaped pattern for the free flow of air. For extra durability,
the doors are made from 14 gauge steel, and the sides, tops, bottoms and
shelves are 16 gauge steel. Backs are 18 gauge. Stainless steel recessed
handles are standard on 1, 2 and 3 tier models. Special nylon glides fastened
to the latch channel assembly help to minimize noise.
Invincible II "Defiant" Single
Point Latch (SPL) Lockers
Same as the Invincible II Lockers
except that these lockers have a 14 gauge one piece Defiant door with integral
box beam stiffening reinforcements on the hinge and latch sides. For ease
of maintenance, there are no moving latch parts. Stainless steel recessed

All-Welded Lockers
ALL-WELDED MODELS:
All-Welded Lockers
Penco All-Welded lockers are shipped
completely assembled. All major components are welded together at the factory
prior to being painted with a durable baked-on enamel finish. Locker groups
up to 54" wide can be shipped as units, reducing on site installation time
to a minimum.
All-Welded "Defiant" Single Point

Same as the All-Welded Lockers except
that these lockers have a 14 gauge one piece Defiant door with integral
