Since 1970 Ohio Gratings, Inc. has manufactured just one top quality product... bar grating. This single focus has allowed us to gain the expertise and respect that has defined us as a market leader in the aluminum and steel bar grating market. The company was founded with the motto "Make It Right and Ship When Promised". This philosophy has allowed us to expand successfully over the years. The company began as a light duty steel grating fabricator and expanded into the manufacturing of heavy duty welded steel and stainless steel grating. That early success, led to other expansions including the manufacturing of aluminum swaged and dovetail bar grating. A few years later we added aluminum plank to our line of flooring products.

Traditionally, Ohio Gratings, Inc offered products suitable for the industrial and environmental markets, such as water and waste water treatment, power generation plants, heavy duty bridge decking, etc. In the past several years, OGi has branched out and started a division called OGi Architectural Metal Solutions to cater to the architectural needs of our customers. We now have the ability to offer our products for green applications including grilles and screens, louvers, fencing, sunshades, ADA walkways, handrail infill and more.

Operating in accordance with NAAMM standards, Ohio Gratings, Inc. operates in 312,000 square feet of space and participates in all facets of the grating industry.

South Carolina Facility
Ridgeland, SC

To better serve our customers in the Southeastern part of the country, we opened our Ridgeland, South Carolina facility of 15,000 square feet in 2003. This facility was built to help support our customers in the region that required fast turn around on small stock and fabricated orders. Stock panels of steel and aluminum panels are readily available from our extensive inventory. Light fabrication work including galvanized steel products can be shipped quickly as well.

Texas Facility
Houston, TX

Ohio Gratings, Inc. opened a 31,000 sq. ft. facility in Houston Texas, named OGi-Houston in 2008. This facility is located at 12300B Amelia Dr. Houston, TX 77045 and provides customers with an array of grating products and services, starting with light duty steel grating. They also provide fabrication services and just-in-time delivery from their large inventory of grating panels and stair treads. OGi-Houston serves customers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Florida Facility
Longwood, FL

In 2008, American Metal Architectural Systems, a 30,000 sq. ft. facility located in Longwood, FL, became an Ohio Gratings company through a joint venture to focus on the Florida architectural market. Ohio Gratings, Inc. has expanded into the architectural metals market providing aluminum, carbon and stainless steel products for projects requiring sunscreens, grilles, fencing, handrail infill, building facades and louvers. With their experience in architectural consultation, design, planning, engineering, fabrication, project management and installation services, they have worked on many different projects in the South Florida market and bring that knowledge to the Ohio Gratings team. American Metal Architectural Systems provides architectural systems for grilles/screens, louvers, cladding, awnings, canopies, sunshades, bahama shutters, metal fencing, walkways and signature structures. American Metal Architectural Systems excellence has made them a trusted partner to many of the leading architects in the United States.

Utah Facility
Lindon, UT

Ohio Gratings, Inc. (OGi) influence expanded into the Western United States as a significant partner in Interstate Gratings. Located in Lindon, Utah with a 65,000 square foot facility to serve the Intermountain West Region, Interstate Gratings focuses on industrial and commercial fabricated steel grating and carry a large supply of panel inventory. Interstate Gratings is the second fully integrated welded bar grating manufacturing facility in the entire Western United States. Their forthcoming manufacturing equipment has been designed to produce a full line of grating products including standard, close mesh and heavy duty grating. Additionally, Ohio Gratings, Inc provides an inventory of all its aluminum swaged locked gratings and utilizes this facility as a depot for all of its manufactured and fabricated products.
