Nichiha fiber cement products can be installed over metal, wood, SIP and CMU substrates, in addition the panels are completely compatible with vinyl, wood, metal and PVC trim accessories, providing a variety of design solutions for any building style and construction type. Stone fiber cement panels are manufactured using a multi-layered coating process creating a lasting, durable finish (15-year finish warranty). Backed by a 50-year panel warranty, fiber cement panels will not crack, rot or delaminate, are resistant to fungus and termite infestation and can withstand extreme weather conditions. Ship-lapped on four sides for a tight fit and seamless appearance, Nichiha stone panels are 18 inches by 6 feet, installing 9 sq. ft. at a time. The ease and speed of installing Nichiha panels means overall lower installed costs as labor is on and off the job quickly. All Nichiha brick, stone and block panels are installed using the patented Nichiha clip system, which requires no special tools or special labor thus reducing installed costs. This unique clip system creates a pocket of air between panels and the substrate, reducing moisture build up, enhancing the integrity of the substrate.
