Wood Specie Choices Although Northern Appalachian Red Oak is the standard wood specie, New Holland offers optional popular hardwood species such as Mahogany, Beech, Cherry, Maple, White Oak and Walnut. Based on availability, New Holland can manufacture worship furnishings or church pews in other wood species as well. All wood used at New Holland Church Furniture is premium grade FAS and Select with a moisture content range of between 6 and 8 percent. New Holland does not use any type of particleboard or MDF in our church pews. Pews Radius or straight pews can be manufactured with all wood seats and backs, upholstered seats and wood backs, or fully upholstered seats and backs. New Holland offers either standard or custom pews with a variety of standard or custom pew end panels. Wood Chairs New Holland sets the industry standard for all solid wood worship chairs and choir chairs with a variety of options including arm chairs and armless chairs, and a variety of bookrack arrangements.
