Disc-O-Tile Notes

Product Description

This unique flooring tile with raised circular discs (3/4" (19mm) diameter), for better traction; is attractive, non-staining and non-discoloring. Large 24" (610mm) factory cut square tiles mean a quick installation, fewer joints – important for cleanliness. Circular discs allow for easier cleaning. Wheeled equipment moves across easily. Ideal for stair landings, lobbies, entrances, elevators, hallways, ramps; an ideal substitute for terrazzo floors. Install with Musson No. 775 Epoxy Adhesive.

Product Specifications

A. Furnish and install Musson No. 788 Disc-O-Tile Design Rubber Flooring, 3/16" (4.8mm) thick in 24" x 24" (610mm) square tile size. Tile shall have a Flame Spread Rating of 25 or less when tested using ASTM-E84 Test. Tile shall have a sanded back; be made of properly cured rubber compound, homogenous throughout, free from embedded foreign material, and shall contain no asbestos fiber; resistant to alkali, cleaning agents and light. Tile color shall be _____ . Install tile with Musson No. 775 Epoxy Adhesive.

B. Flame Spread Classification: all Musson molded rubber Disc-O-Tile meet or surpass the requirements of the following tests:

- UL 992 Chamber Test: 2.0 or less
- ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test: 25 or less
- NFPA 253 C.R.F. Test: .9 Watts/square cm or more

C. Physical Properties: all Musson molded rubber products have been tested under: ASTM D-471, Mil 1-631D, ASTM D-624 Die C, ASTM 2240 SHORE A, ASTM D-2047, ASTM E-662, ASTM E 392-73T, and SS312B.
