Spartan Bicycle Parking Racks

The Spartan™ has clean lines which combine both form and function while keeping bikes neatly aligned and upright. It offers a 25" clearance between bikes, a 3/4" solid rod for "U" locks, and all-welded construction.

The Spartan™ is constructed of 2-3/8" OD and 1-5/8" OD steel tubing with a 3/4" diameter steel rod. It is available in freestanding, surface, and in-ground mounting options with the ability to park one or both sides of the rack. It is also available in galvanized or powder coated finishes. The Spartan™ is an innovative, practical, and eye-catching parking option.

Specifications

The Spartan™: bicycle parking rack shall be the SPR-__-__-__-__ (insert parking method, number of bikes, mounting method and finish/material) bicycle parking rack as manufactured by Madrax, a division of Trilary, Inc.

(1) Rack shall be constructed of 1 5/8"OD × 12ga." (41.2mm × 2.8mm) and 2 3/8"OD × 10ga." (60.3 x 3.4mm) structural tubing and 3/4" (19.0mm) steel round stock.

FINISHES

The parking rack shall be hot-dipped galvanized after fabrication. Rack shall be hand filed to remove galvanizing flash.

Rack shall be powder coated after complete fabrication with triglycidyl isocyanurate (TGIC) powder, a polyester coating. The color shall be ___ (list color). To insure powder coat adhesion, steel must be free of any scale, paint, varnish, or rust. Substrate preparation prior to powder coating is to include a chemical wash and rinse followed with an iron phosphate treatment.
