Lyon^® Locker Bench Specifications

A. LAMINATED HARDWOOD WITH ENAMELED STEEL PEDESTAL DESIGN features select hardwoods for strength and attractive looks. 9-1/2" wide x 17-3/4" high, and 2' to 12' long in 1-ft. increments.

B. PLASTIC LAMINATE WITH ENAMELED STEEL PEDESTAL DESIGN offer a choice of 14 standard colors with color matched pedestals. 12" wide x 18-1/4" high, and 3' to 12' long in 1 ft. increments.

C. ANODIZED ALUMINUM DESIGN combines sleek, contemporary look with strength and durability. Plus, the versatility of 4 popular sizes with adjustable pedestals. Rust resistant, anodized aluminum is light, yet incredibly strong and easy to maintain in almost any environment. One piece bench standards are secured to pedestal base with adjustable clamps. Rounded edges and center traces provide comfortable, skid resistant seating. Use as portable bench or install as a fixed position unit.

D. HEAVY DUTY CAST IRON PEDESTAL DESIGN provides solid footing for plastic laminate or laminated hardwood tops.

E. ALUMINUM PEDESTALS are sold separately, and can be used with wood tops for freestanding or moveable installations. Hardwood bench shall have clear hardwood tops 9-1/2" wide by 1-1/4" thick, finished with two coats of acrylic finish.

Plastic Laminate: Shall be color matched or specially-wood laminated. Constructed of 45 lb density particleboard core glued and layered to a thickness of 1-3/8" with two 1" square, 1 piece, 14 gauge steel tubes buried in board core running full length of the locker bench, positioned to receive attachment screws for pedestals. Long sides shall have full 180° soft edge. Tops shall be 12"w x 1-3/4"h and available in lengths from 3' to 12'.

Hardwood bench shall have clear hardwood tops 9-1/2" wide by 1-1/4" thick, finished with two coats of acrylic finish.

Aluminum: Bench legs shall be two pieces of anodized aluminum extrusion (6105-T5) 2-1/4" x 3/4" formed and shall be unit-welded. Base measures 12-5/8"w x 14-5/8"h. Top is 8-7/8"w. Overall height is 17-1/8".

Pedestals: Spaced on not more than 6' centers. Overall height shall be 17-3/4". Finish of pedestal shall be same color as lockers. Each pedestal shall be attached to top by screws and shall be anchored to floor by two suitable anchors. Steel pedestal base shall be 14 gauge steel with 1-5/8" tubing uprights.
