3. Materials:

Headrail:

• .02" thick Tomized steel
• U-shaped
• .94" high x 1.35" wide
• All hardware enclosed in the headrail

Tilter:

• Sealed polystyrene housing with lubricated worm and gear mechanism to prevent wear

Tilt Wand:

• Solid, transparent with a round fluted cross section approximately 3/10" in dameter with 6 grooves for nonslip grip

Cord Lock:

• Shall be clear polycarbonate
• Casing with steel shields and brass rollers. Shall be a crash proof type with sufficient sensitivity to lock slats at desired height upon release of cords.

Drums & Cradles:

• Provided with each ladder
• Drums – engineered polymer
• Cradles – engineered polymer

Installation Brackets:

• .035" thick galvanized steel
• Rivet-hinged safety locking front cover to permit removal of headrail without lateral movements

Ladders (slat supports):

• Distance between slats does not exceed 21.5 mm (nominally 14.2 slats per vertical foot)

Slats:

• 5000 series magnesium aluminum alloy which includes recycled aluminum materials
• Nominally 1" wide and the thickness of the slats is nominally .006"
• Coating includes DustGuard, a patented paint process which disrupts the natural static attraction of airborne dust particles, reducing dust build-up on the slat 50% to 70%.
• 90% recycled slat material

Bottomrail:

• .023" thick Tomized steel
