Headrail:

  • .025" thick Tomized steel, 1-1/2" high x 1-5/8" wide
  • Valance-free design
  • Crowned underside profile to prevent light leakage
  • Polyethylene headrail detailing
  • All hardware enclosed in the headrail

Guardian Tilter:

  • .042" Tomized steel housing
  • Self-lubricating nylon automatically disengaging worm and gear mechanism to eliminate overdrive and prevent strain or damage to blind

Tilt Wand:

  • Solid, transparent with a round cross-section of 5/16" diameter
  • Exits the bottom of the headrail via a U-shaped black or bright metal plated steel link

Cordless Spring Motor:

  • Patented assembly provides counter balance with sufficient sensitivity to hold slats at desired height upon release of the bottomrail
  • Variable force coil spring counter balances the weight of the bottomrail and slats and drives the spools that store the lift cord as the blind is raised

Drums & Cradles:

  • Provided with each ladder
  • Drums – .031" thick Tomized steel
  • Cradles – .042" thick Tomized steel

Installation Brackets:

  • Standard Mount Bracket consists of two interconnecting pieces designed for ceiling mount applications and completely concealed within the headrail
  • Universal Mount Bracket consists of one piece spring tempered steel designed for use in all applications

Ladders (slat supports):

  • Distance between slats does not exceed 21.5 mm (nominally 14.2 slats per vertical foot). Optional 19.5 ladder spacing available (nominally 15.6 slats per foot).

Slats:

  • 5000 series magnesium aluminum alloy which includes 90% recycled aluminum materials
  • Nominally 1" wide and the thickness of the slats is nominally .008"
  • Available in 1-3/8" wide. (Mark I Grande - Model MARKI38C)
  • Coating includes DustGuard, a patented paint process which disrupts the natural static attraction of airborne dust particles, reducing dust build-up on the slat 50% to 70%.
  • Slat Design (select one):
    1. Unperforated
    2. SheerView Perforated – slats are perforated with a staggered pattern of .020" diameter holes, nominally 177 per inch of slat length. Slats have an openness factor of 6%.
      Available on select colors. Not availble on LightMaster™.

Bottomrail:

  • Fully enclosed with color compatible flexible PVC bottom bumper and polyethylene end caps
