I-Trac™ Aluminum and Steel Overhead I-Beam Correctional Facility Gates

Jamieson's I-Trac™ gate systems are a complete line of overhead I-Beam sliding gates for correctional facilities, Sally ports & high security applications . Single or double drive gate openings can range up to 16' maximum clear height and spans of 60' on the aluminum gate series & 30' with steel. These gates are engineered for wind loads up to 110 MPH @ Wind Exposure 'C'.

THE I-TRAC™ SYSTEM:

Each I-Trac™ Gate comes complete with all components required for manual gate operation. Should the project be automated, Jamieson represents, technically supports and integrates all major lines of commercial gate operating equipment & access control features for your specific requirement.

All components of the gate & superstructure are designed to the exact span, weight & wind load. Our AWS certified manufacturing operation then fabricates and assembles to the greatest extent possible at the factory, thus saving installation time and potential error at the job-site.

As most typical I-Trac™ gates exceed shipping constraints, the gate is shipped in sections with splice provisions for simple and immediate reassembly at the job site.

SECURE AND RELIABLE GATES:

I-Trac™ gates are designed for strength, balance, rigidity and endurance. Stringent design standards include heavy base materials, additional internal vertical members and heavy wall end members braced to secondary vertical supports. Stainless steel aircraft cables are pre-installed with turnbuckles for bidirectional adjustability in each bay through the entire gate length. Filler materials extend through the tail section of each gate, thus making each gate reversible and able to open to either side.

To secure the bottom of the gate frame, bottom rails and guides throughout the gate opening are available upon request.

ENGINEERED SUPERSTRUCTURE:

Jamieson's proprietary aluminum track is mounted to the bottom of the engineered I-Beam at the factory for perfect alignment, optimal splice locations (if applicable) and ease of installation at the job site. The enclosed track provides 2,500 lb vertical reaction load, eliminates snow or ice buildup and potential tampering that can be found with external rollers.

Heavy duty 10" truck assemblies, each with (8) 6,500 lb cylindrical bearings, are certified for a 9,500 lbs peak load. The quantity of trucks required is based on the opening & gate length and are mounted to the top of the gate frame to carry the gate with high reliability and minimal resistance.

Posts, double post assemblies and hanging brackets are similarly designed to the specific application and fabricated to the fullest extent possible.

There are few limitations to securing, latching or locking I-Trac™ gates. Whether manual, electronic or hydraulic, Jamieson can assist in selection, system design, integration, 3-part specifications and supply.
