It started in 1904: we originally manufactured hemp ropes for farmers in the
heart of Switzerland.
Today, two generations later, we have a presence in over 50 countries with
an extensive line of ingenious products.
In Switzerland, as one of the few remaining independent production companies,
we haven’t merely survived. We’ve thrived. This is due largely to
the Jakob® INOX LINE, a product range which has meanwhile attained designer status
throughout the world. It is successfully deployed by craftspeople, architects
and engineers alike. And we’re proud of that. Because it proves that even
a small company can break the mold of ordinariness.
