Steelcraft is a leading manufacturer of steel doors and frames for commercial, industrial and institutional construction.

Steelcraft was founded in 1927 by the Levinson family as a building products distribution company. In 1942, Steelcraft shifted its focus to production and began manufacturing doors and steel casement windows. Steelcraft quickly became the preferred supplier of metal doors and frames in the commercial construction market.

In 1996, the Ingersoll-Rand Architectural Hardware Group acquired the company. And, in 1999, IR built a West Coast manufacturing facility to increase Steelcraft's global presence.

Today, as a key brand of IR Security and Safety, Steelcraft is well positioned to continue its dramatic growth and success into the 21st century.
