For a modest upcharge over non-patented products, Everest Restricted key systems let you control your key blanks, and that means you control key duplication.

Standard Security - Key blanks that can only be duplicated by commercial locksmiths or security dealers

Everest Open cylinders are priced equal to our Classic Unpatented cylinders. Everest Open cylinders feature keys that can be duplicated only by commercial locksmiths or security dealers.

Basic Security - Keys easily duplicated at home centers, mall stands, or by locksmiths

Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC)

Small Format Interchangeable Cores (SFIC) are available to answer the need for patented key control among end users of Best®, Falcon, etc interchangeable core key systems.

Schlage offers 7-pin cores in Everest B Family restricted keyways to retrofit Best® and its clones. This is the perfect choice for end users who want patented key control in an SFIC hardware application.

Schlage Portable Security

This extensive range of Commercial Grade products includes padlocks, flexible steel locking cables and security chains. These products can be master keyed into any new or existing Schlage key system, allowing you to integrate padlocks with door hardware eliminating the need for separate keys.
